What is the Capital Dinner?

The Capital Dinner is LCV’s annual marquee membership event. Often called "Climate Prom" by our allies, every year, we gather with the environmental community's foremost leaders, friends, policymakers, champions, and supporters for a powerful evening.

Where is the 2027 Capital Dinner?

The 2027 Capital Dinner will take place in the Wharf neighborhood in Washington, D.C. The exact venue will be shared with attendees in the week before the event.

What time does the event start?

Our pre-dinner cocktail reception usually begins around 5:30 PM with the seated dinner beginning around 7:00 PM. We will share confirmed timing with attendees in the week before the event.

Is there a speaking program?

Yes, you can expect to hear from leaders in the climate and democracy movement during the dinner.

What is the dress code?

We suggest business festive. Though we always love when folks wear green, if there was ever a year to go all out, this is it, since the Capital Dinner falls on St. Patrick's Day!

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?

Yes, we're usually able to accommodate every dietary restriction we're made aware of. We serve a pescatarian meal for dinner. If you have additional dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc.), please indicate that in your registration.

Can you accommodate my accessibility needs?

Yes, please indicate in your registration what your accessibility requirements are, and reach out to events@lcv.org if you have any questions. Accessibility needs may include, but are not limited to, access to an elevator, a prayer room, a gender-neutral or ADA-compliant bathroom.

How can I attend?

Make sure to register online! We have sponsorship packages available, as well as individual tickets for sale. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
